Shipping

All orders received by 12:00 PM HST will be shipped within 2 business days, excluding national holidays.

Delivery Time

When you place an order, shipping and delivery dates are based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. It is always best to go on your chosen shipper's website and plug-in our zip-code of 96740 to see how long shipping will take to your destination, based on the shipping option you chose and the delivery location. Due to our Hawaii location, shipping times can take several days longer than they do on the Mainland USA. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shipping option, especially if you are on a tight time line. As a quick reference for our US customers, USPS Priority can take approx. 3 business days, FedEx and UPS Ground can take approx. 5 business days to get to the west coast and approx. 8 business days to get to the east coast. USPS Express takes 2 business days.

Calculating Cost

Shipping costs depend upon the method and option you choose. For your protection, we only offer shipping options that have tracking and/or delivery confirmation. For this reason, all international orders shipped via USPS will be shipped Express.

Please note that the shipping rates for all items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. We do not add any excessive shipping charges to any of our orders. Shipping charges are calculated by the shipping couriers we offer based on the weight of your package, shipping method you choose, and location where the order is being shipped. These costs are auto-populated and are usually within several dollars of what we spend on shipping packages to our customers.

International Shipments

All international orders received by 12:00 PM HST will be shipped within 3 business days, excluding national holidays. International customers are responsible for all import duties, fees and taxes. Shipping rates quoted on site only cover shipping and brokerage expenses (if applicable). Koko Bean LLC will not be responsible for any fees incurred as a result of importing goods to other countries. On rare occasions, international shipments may be delayed in customs. Koko Bean LLC declares all package values and contents and will not ship any merchandise as gifts.

General Returns/Exchange Policy

Domestic Customers (USA Only):

We are confident that you will be thrilled with your Koko Bean purchase. However if for any reason you are unhappy with an item, we will gladly accept it for an exchange within 14 days of your purchase. You will be offered site credit for all returns. To receive return shipping instructions, please send us an e-mail through our “Contact Us” page and provide us with your order number, as well as a list of items you wish to exchange. We are only able to accept brand new garments that have not been worn, washed, or altered and are still in their original packaging. Return shipping expenses will only be refunded if we sent you a wrong or defective item, however we will ship all newly exchanged items at our own expense if this is the case. We are happy to offer you a refund instead of an exchange/site credit if we sent you a wrong or defective item.

Please note although USPS PARCEL POST in most other states can take 4-7 days to arrive, this service can take approximately 6 weeks or longer when shipping packages heavier than 13 ounces to and from Hawaii. There is also no tracking information or delivery confirmation offered for this shipping method. For these two reasons we require that all returns are shipped via USPS Priority or an equivalent service with tracking and delivery confirmation.

International Customers:

We are unable to accept any returns from international customers due to the high shipping charges. We are also unable to replace missing or defective items due to the high shipping costs involved. If you are an international customer, please consider this carefully before placing an order with Koko Bean. If Koko Bean sends you a wrong or defective item, or if you are missing any items from your order, we will offer you a store credit for the defective item, on a per-case basis.

Close-Out, Clearance, and Custom Orders:

Lastly, all close-out, clearance, and custom order product sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted for these items. Payment for these items shows your agreement to our no-refund/no-exchange policy for all our close-out, clearance, and custom order products. Sale items do not fall under this category and are subject to our general return/exchange policy.
